These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the QQCalc application (“App”). The App is provided by QQCalc (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and is designed as an intellectual calorie calculator to help you track consumed food quickly and accurately. By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue using the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Your use of the App signifies your acceptance of these Terms. We may update these Terms at our sole discretion. Changes take effect when posted in the App, on our website (https://qqcalc.me), or when we notify you through reasonable means. Continued use of the App after such updates indicates your agreement to the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility
#

The App is intended for use by healthy adult individuals. If you are under 18 (e.g., a minor as young as 10), pregnant, or have medical conditions, you may use the App only with the guidance of a parent, guardian, or qualified healthcare professional.

3. License
#

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or extract the App’s source code, unless permitted by applicable law.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and materials in the App (excluding user-provided data) are owned by or licensed to QQCalc and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent, except as allowed under these Terms.

5. Fees and In-App Purchases

  • Usage Model: The App operates on a credit-based system where usage is tied to “apples.” Upon registration, each user receives 12 apples, granting approximately three months of free use.
  • Weekly Consumption: Every week, the App consumes one apple from your balance. However, if your weekly performance calculated by the App is good, an apple is not deducted.
  • Purchases: Once your apple balance reaches zero, continued use of the App requires purchasing additional apples through in-app purchases. Pricing and payment terms are shown in the App and handled through the relevant app store (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Purchases are subject to the app store’s payment and refund policies, which you should review prior to buying.

6. Health Disclaimer
#

The App offers general recommendations for food tracking, nutritional information, and weight loss management based on your input. We are not a medical organization and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary or lifestyle changes, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions. Use of the App is at your own risk.

7. User Data and Privacy

We collect and process personal data according to our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to this collection and processing. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data you provide, such as food intake or personal metrics.

8. Termination
#

You may discontinue using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, in whole or in part, at our discretion, with or without notice, for reasons including violation of these Terms, legal obligations, or prolonged inactivity.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee that the App will meet your expectations or be error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QQCalc, its developers, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. You use the App at your own risk.
